The Kaspien is our favorite restaurant, which we like to visit again and again every few weeks - just not too often, so that it remains something special :-) We have tried many of the dishes in the meantime and still cannot decide which is our favorite: Lamb pot? Beef in herb sauce? Rice with meatballs? Or maybe chicken in plum and nut sauce? The only thing we have never tested is pizza - with the great selection of Persian dishes there is simply no reason to do so. The crowning glory is halva and baklava. Everything is delicious, fresh and simply a pleasure! The owner and his son have a very friendly appearance in service - but of course the chef (who has always remained invisible to us) deserves a lot of praise! We are still happy to come to you :-)

After an excellent starter platter, we wanted to wait a little with the main course. We asked around 7 p.m. how long the kitchen was open. Then we got the snotty answer ‘definitely not until tomorrow morning’. The food was impeccable. But the trappings didn't let us enjoy our stay. I am also always skeptical in places where card payments are not offered ?

Again and again Kesmesh Polo. Love my son and I very much. And: There is King Ludwig Dunkel on tap! That alone is worth the visit and sweetens the waiting time for the takeaway.

Always very nice service, always very tasty nutritious food! The amount is suitable for eaters. In addition, fair prices and a nice atmosphere. We are always happy to be there or pick up ordered food.

Sensational Had lamb pot. The head of the house said, let yourself be surprised. Well, what can I say. It was me. Kaspien, a small, nice Persian restaurant in Lübeck. Cozy atmosphere, very nice service. The way it looked, all regulars. Which I always consider a very good sign. If people go there often and eat everyone, it can only be good. Then ate the delicious lamb pot on recommendation. Spicy, fruity, fresh ingredients, excellent lamb and very well balanced and round. The menu is very extensive and I would have liked to have tried more. So, I have to come back. Conclusion: All around recommendable. Extremely tasty. Very nice there. I'll be back.

You just feel good here. Simply excellent dishes, delicious freshly tapped Herford and a super friendly service. The ambience is also very cozy, it looks like sitting in a Persian living room. Gladly again :)

Small family and cozy Persian restaurant. Friendly service, which is noticeably connected to the restaurant. The food is varied and interesting. No star kitchen, but delicious and homemade. The prices are very fair and we like to come back.

The dishes we received were unfortunately not tasty and visually, which I am used to from my Persian family and other restaurants (for example in Hamburg). Classic ingredients such as saffron, pomegranate or desserts with rose water are completely missing on the map and the stew-like direction is atypical and careless. If you like it rustic, the Kaspien may be a good everyday destination in the style of a German pub. Price is okay. The German / Italian dishes can not be judged, but we have not experienced fine Persian cuisine here.

The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The seating outside was great! Even with the current temperatures you could endure it there very well. The service was very nice and attentive.

Very friendly service and great service. The food was excellent and something completely different. I have been there twice now and will visit Caspia more often in the future. I can recommend the fresh salads or Sereschk-Polo. This is a rice dish with barberries and chicken. My wife is a cook and was absolutely thrilled with it. As a starter, you can perfectly share the Caspian starter plate :)

Good and healthy Persian food. The staff is friendly, the audience rather middle-aged. There are many dishes with rice, the prices are quite low. Unfortunately, the ambience is not too appealing, you should sit inside, the furniture is older and the restaurant looks almost a bit scruffy.
